Holistic and Modern Medicine

We offer both holistic and modern treatments often combining the two for the greatest benefit for your pet. The course of treatment will depend on you and your pet.

Laser Surgery

We are proud to offer laser surgery. A laser is ideal for a wide variety of surgical procedures for dogs and cats. Surgery previously considered traumatic such as declawing, ear canal surgery, and upper respiratory surgery are now a breeze with laser. Also, laser surgery may be performed without general anesthesia. This is especially important for older pets.

Ultrasonic Dental Cleaning

Ultrasonic dental cleaning in conjunction with your efforts at home, will keep your pet's teeth healthy for years. This reduces their chances of getting infections and tooth loss, thus increasing their quality of life and often, their life span!

Annual Shots

Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella, Feline Leukemia, FVRCP..... We will tailor an inoculation program for the specific needs of your pet.

Annual Examinations

We give annual examinations to detect problems before they get out of hand. Heart disease, cancer, arthritis, and other problems can be handled much more effectively if caught early.

Heartworm Prevention

We recommend that all of our canine patients be on a heartworm preventative. We can also treat those who are heartworm positive and then place them on a preventative.

Flea Management

The treatment of fleas is a large scale assault operation. You must treat the home and exterior environment in addition to your pet. We use Frontline on our pets and recommend it to others. This product has made an enormous impact on the pets that we have encountered with fleas. We can give you advice on the treatment of your home and the exterior environment as well.

Spaying and Neutering Pets

If you do not have a show animal and you do not want to sell litters, then we highly recommend that your pets be spayed. This is not a difficult procedure for your pet (especially for the males), and it will give your pet a longer, healthier life and a less aggressive attitude in addition to eliminating unwanted pregnancy.

Chronic Conditions and Disease

Sometimes, despite our best efforts at maintaining our pets good health, illness and accidents can occur. We will be there to treat your pet. You are part of the team that heals your et. We will arm you with the information that you need to make the most informed decision possible.
With some pets, we are faced with congenital defects, chronic conditions, chronic diseases, or terminal conditions. We will work with you to cure your pet, treat your pet, or to keep them comfortable when there is nothing left to do for them using treatments ranging from simple medicine to aggressive modern medicine, or end stage pain management.

Breeding - Prenatal Care - Birthing Assistance

We help in breeding show animals, prenatal care, birthing assistance, evaluation of a litter upon arrival, as well as the litter's immunization and health care needs.

Emergency Care

When your pet has been injured by a car, another animal, poison, or by other happenstance, we will be there to help you and your pet through this traumatic event. Surgical or medicinal treatments may be necessary. We hope that our years of experience will give you the greatest advantage possible for you and your pet.

End Care

Probably the hardest part of pet ownership is when your beloved friend needs to be given the peace of dying. No one likes this part, but it is part of how we love our pets when they are suffering and nothing can be done to help them. We show our love to them through a painless way to end pain. We will be there for you and help you cope with the resulting grief.
